Ronald Reagan fans out there? I was born and raised in Dixon, Illinois. (Ronald Reagan's boyhood home). My home when I was a teenager was one block away from where Reagan grew up! I attended the same high school he did and my middle school was named Reagan Middle School. One of my relatives went to high school with him!
I grew up on a pig farm. To this day, I still don't care for pork products. Both my mom and dad's families were farmers (cattle, pigs, and fowl).
I graduated from high school in 2001.
I'm a cat lady! I grew up surrounded by cats. We had dogs too, but cats were my thing. I also had a pet pig named Fred. I am now the proud mama to 3 dogs and 2 cats.
I get my love of animals from my Dad's mom.
I just turned 33 last December.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Illinois State University with a B.S. in Management in 2007 and received my Veterinary Assistant Career Diploma from Penn Foster in 2015.
I'm married to a Veteran. (And he's pretty cool)
My favorite type of music is hard rock, metal, dance, and classical. (What a combo, right?)
I love true crime documentaries and tv shows.
I worked in Human Resources for 7 years before becoming a pet sitter.
Last, but certainly not least, animals were, are, and always will be my passion and purpose in life. I have a special connection to all critters.
